Watch straps with a folding clasp (fold-over clasp) open with a pull on the bracket. To close, press it back down. The clasp is very flat and hardly adds bulk. Most models come in 18 to 24mm, some narrower from 12mm. You will find the other two clasp types among the straps with deployment clasp.

How the clasp works
The folding clasp has a hinge that opens and unfolds when you pull the bracket. To put the watch on, first thread the loose end of the strap through the loops, then press the bracket until the clasp clicks shut. This keeps the strain off the loops.
The strap size is adjustable. Fold down the small hinge under the bracket, pull the strap through to the right length and fold the hinge back. You can change the size at any time.

Fitting and adjusting the folding clasp
The video shows how to fit a folding clasp to a watch strap and adjust it to your wrist size. Ideally you need a spring bar tool to fit it.
Leather and vegan materials
Most straps in this category are leather. There are also vegan straps made of apple, cork or grain. You can choose the clasp colour in steel, gold or black for every strap.
Cleaning the clasp
Remove dirt from the clasp with a soft cloth and a little soapy water. Then dry the clasp thoroughly with a dry cloth.
