Watch straps - Deployment clasp Normal, Page 10
Watch straps with a deployment clasp come in three clasp types at our shop: safety folding clasp, folding clasp (fold-over clasp) and butterfly clasp. Most of these straps are leather. Classic watch straps with a pin buckle are of course also available.
Good to know about our deployment clasps
Safety folding clasp
The safety folding clasp has a safety catch. You fold it back before opening the strap, then press the two side buttons at the same time. These two locks protect the clasp from opening by accident.
The loose end of the strap lies under the clasp, so the strap needs no loops.
Folding clasp
The folding clasp is very slim and hardly adds bulk, so the strap does not look chunky at the clasp. It closes and opens with a press or a pull and suits watches for men and women.
You can change the strap size at any time. Our guide with video shows how to adjust or fit the folding clasp.
Butterfly clasp
The butterfly clasp has a double hinge that opens like wings, hence the name. Compared with the folding clasp, it also has two side buttons that you press to open it.
Both ends of the strap stay connected after opening. This lets you put the watch on and take it off quickly.
Leather watch strap with deployment clasp
Most of our straps with a deployment clasp are leather. With a pin buckle, you open the strap completely every time you take it off. With a deployment clasp, you set the length once. After that you just open the clasp and slide the closed strap over your hand.
You only take the leather part out of the clasp again if your wrist size changes.
Standard spring bar or quick release
Many models come in two versions: with standard spring bars or with quick release spring bars. A quick release strap has a small metal pin on the inside. Push it inwards and the strap comes off the watch without tools.
If a model comes in both versions, you can switch between them on the product page.
Looking for the clasp only, without a strap? You will find it among our single buckles and clasps.
