This pineapple bracelet is made from pineapple fibres. For this purpose, the pineapple leaves are separated from the fruit after harvesting. No additional environmental resources are needed, as the leaves left over from the pineapple harvest are used. The fibres are extracted from the leaves by machine and then left to dry steady. The whole process takes several weeks, and the environmentally friendly production is, resulting in a sustainable, resource-saving and 100% vegan product.
Because pineapple fibres are soft yet strong, the watch straps are both tear-resistant and supple. They are also breathable and water-repellent. Both the front and the back of the bracelet are made of pineapple fibres. In terms of quality, the pineapple straps are in no way inferior to leather straps and visually they are reminiscent of grained vintage leather.
